Terms and conditions

The Olivetan Benedictine Congregation located in Loc. Monte Oliveto Maggiore, 53041 Asciano (SI), P.IVA 00087990529, owns and grants access to the site www.agricolamonteoliveto.com selling its products at the General Conditions of Sale stated below, in accordance with D.Lgs 206/05 of the consumers’ code. Access to the pages on the site www.agricolamonteoliveto.com implies that users accept the general conditions of sale. Users not intending to accept them are advised not to use or download any material from the site.
Products
For transparency towards our clients, the farm industry of the Olivetan Benedictine Congregation has published information regarding the items on sale by means of a technical sheet attached to each product.
Clients may purchase products available at present at www.agricolamonteoliveto.com. Information regarding the availability of each product is to be found on the accompanying sheet.
The administration of the industry will inform clients straight away, via e-mail or by telephone, should an online order not be available immediately.
Prices
Sale prices on the site are in euro (€) and include tax. Postal fees are not included and are to be paid by the client (except for promotions). They are indicated at the end of the order in addition to the total of the products selected.
The Olivetan Benedictine Congregation reserves the right to modify prices at any time prior to the confirmation of the order, however keeping a fair balance between quality and price. In case a price is clearly wrong or derisory, for whatever reason (human or technical error), the Congregation reserves the right to annul the order even though it may have been confirmed initially.
Placing an order
In placing an order at Agricolamonteoliveto.com, clients must follow three steps:
1. Identification by inserting username and password (or register as a new client).
2. Adding the product/s to be purchased to the shopping cart.
3. Choice of the method of payment (credit card or anticipated bank transfer).
After selecting the method of payment, clients must proceed to finalize the order through one of the suggested methods. The contract of sale becomes final once the client sends the order and the Congregation has accepted it. The Congregation reserves the right to refuse an order. The cancellation of an order is possible within the time-span and methods indicated in the paragraph “cancelling an order”.
Accepting the general conditions of sale
In placing an order in any of the suggested methods, clients declare to have read the information provided during the purchasing procedure, and fully accept the general conditions of sale and payment listed in the section “terms and conditions”.
Shipping
If available in the store, products purchased at agricolamonteoliveto.com will be shipped within two working days following the order. However, if a part of the merchandise ordered is not available in the store, clients will be informed via e-mail or by telephone. Merchandise may be shipped to Italy or abroad. Costs, methods and delivery may vary according to the shipping method selected and the destination.
Cancelling an order
Clients may cancel an order after having confirmed a purchase, on the sole condition that the merchandise has not already been shipped. The request should be sent to 0577 707269 (fax) or info@agricolamonteoliveto.com. The Congregation will reimburse the entire sum to clients within one week from the cancellation date. However, for practical and financial reasons, clients are asked to inform us of the cancellation as soon as possible, hence avoiding that the merchandise is shipped and the cancellation request refused. We suggest calling 0577 707647 before sending a cancellation request.
Right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal according to the norms of D.Lgs 206/05 of the consumers’ code guarantees the clients’ rights.

Shipping costs
Shipping is carried out by express courier. A valid telephone number (preferably a mobile) is required when registering so as to ensure delivery. The name on the bell at destination should be legible and should correspond to the addressee. Furthermore there should be someone to receive the merchandise during the day.
